Message to members and followers of Black Art In America

We have a new and improved Black Art In America (BAIA) network. After seven years as a social network we have moved in the direction of more original content ie… articles, video and podcast features.  We are also introducing a bimonthly newsletter that will have content you can only get via email so it’s important you continue to check for BAIA emails as they arrive in your inbox. We welcome submissions to be considered for publication. Visit our About Black Art In America  page for the list of services offered by us.

(more about the new website and upcoming BAIA Fine Art Show Houston)

We’ve archived the older content so If you were a member and had content you need access please visit : Black Art In America Archive

Moving forward, I am more committed than ever to the mission of cultivating a community that has interest in arts and culture — an audience that is willing to explore content ‘on and off’  the virtual space — an audience that is mobilized and prepared to travel in order to have these new experiences and truly enjoy ‘the art of living creatively’. You can start by joining us in Houston, October 27-29th for the Black Art In America Fine Art Show at the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum.

As I stated earlier this year, Black Art In America has been propelled in an exciting new direction. The new website will allow for ease of navigation to keep up to date on the changing and forever evolving Black visual arts market.  Our mission has not wavered and I invite you to continue the mission with me and Black Art In America of documenting, preserving and promoting the contributions of the African-American Arts community.
