As part of its ongoing collaboration with international fashion brand, Zadig and Voltaire,\u00a0Black Art In America (BAIA)\u00a0is thrilled to announce the multitalented Daphne Arthur\u00a0as the latest featured artist\u00a0for Zadig and Voltaire’s\u00a0Art Is Hope campaign. A profile of Arthur\u2014who combines painting, sculpture, drawing, and collage\u00a0while tackling issues of race, gender, religion, and identity\u2014currently appears at the luxury streetwear\u00a0company\u2019s website<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and includes a Q&A with the New York City-based artist.\u00a0\u00a0Congratulations\u00a0to Daphne Arthur for her much-deserved selection, her\u00a0artistic vision, and her ongoing push for social change.<\/p>\n

Through their Art is Hope campaign, Zadig & Voltaire supports local artists and communities by \u201cbringing awareness to organizations that augment the state of communities around them.\u201d As a result of the Art is Hope campaign, Black Art In America has received proceeds from the monthly sale of participating items along with funding for BAIA\u2019s recruitment of Black art educators.<\/p>\n
