A FUNDRAISER FOR BLACK ARTISTS OF DC, ORIGINAL FINE ART<\/b><\/p>\n
POSTCARD EXHIBITION AND SALE … <\/b>THEME <\/b>“IMAGINE”<\/b><\/p>\n

WASHINGTON, DC Non Profit group Black Artists of DC is pleased to announce a<\/span><\/p>\n group exhibition of affordable fine art in the form of 5″ x 7″ postcards, featuring<\/span><\/p>\n the dynamic images of some of the best artists in Washington DC.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In an effort to raise funds by making fine art affordable to the greater Washington DC<\/span><\/p>\n area, BADC has pulled together some of Washington DC’s most outstanding artists and<\/span><\/p>\n pooled them together with mid career and emerging artists to offer 5″ x 7″ postcards for<\/span><\/p>\n $25.00 <\/span>each. Our members, as well as Black Artists from other cities, have created<\/span><\/p>\n beautiful, powerful postcards depicting the theme IMAGINE in support of Black Artists<\/span><\/p>\n of DC. For a listing of members and supporters go to blackartistsofdc.org.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n BADC is a non-profit organization that each year offers exhibitions of local and national<\/span><\/p>\n Black Artists. BADC offers exhibition opportunities, workshops, educational<\/span><\/p>\n opportunities, critiques, curating opportunities, studio visits and excursions. <\/span>It <\/span>serves as a<\/span><\/p>\n supportive community for artists of African descent, and art lovers alike. The funds<\/span><\/p>\n raised will assist the organization in boosting its efforts to support Black artists in DC and<\/span><\/p>\n beyond. The theme “IMAGINE” is a call for citizens of this country to call upon their<\/span><\/p>\n creativity in a time when the status quo is obsolete, or simply not working.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Works by Washington DC artists Cheryl Edmonds, Francine Haskins, Juliee Dickerson-Thompson,<\/span><\/p>\n and Aziza Claudia Gibson-Hunter will also be available, with <\/span>50% <\/span>of sales going to BADC.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Many of the artists will be present at the event; all artwork shown will be available for<\/span><\/p>\n sale, cash\/charge and carry.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n For further information visit the Black Artists of DC website at blackartistsofdc.org<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n WHAT:<\/b> A FUNDRAISER FOR BLACK ARTISTS OF DC, ORIGINAL FINE<\/b><\/p>\n ART POSTCARD EXHIBITION AND SALE….
