Please join us on\u00a0Sunday, June 24, 2018 from\u00a01 – 4pm<\/span><\/span>\u00a0for\u00a0Faith Ringgold’s\u00a020th annual garden party at her Englewood, NJ art studio. The first garden party was in 1999 and\u00a0celebrated the beginning of the Anyone Can Fly\u00a0Foundation.\u00a0We have since continued this annual tradition each summer.<\/p>\n

This year we will honor Master Quilter and the founder of the\u00a0National African American Quilt Convention,<\/a>\u00a0Marla Jackson\u00a0<\/strong>with the Lifetime Achievement Award and for the first time we will bestow the Mme. Willi Posey Commemorative Fashion Award upon\u00a0Sara Bunn<\/strong>,<\/a>\u00a0a Master Fashion Designer. Bunn\u2019s designs can be seen at Closets for Her in Englewood, NJ.<\/p>\n

At the party there will be an exhibition of Marla Jackson\u2019s quilts and Sara Bunn\u2019s clothing designs. Faith Ringgold and Michele Wallace will moderate a conversation with Marla and Sara at\u00a01:30pm.<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

Guests will enjoy delicious appetizers, drinks, art and the usual mix of art lovers and friends from across America. We hope that you will join us\u00a0Sunday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0afternoon,\u00a0June 24, 2018<\/span><\/span>, by making your contribution of $150 per person.
