The exhibit, \u201cCome Over\u201d by award winning artist Paul Stephen Benjamin, will focus on the politics of aesthetics, (mis) representation, and cultural assumption. Benjamin\u2019s use of language and visual ephemera to interrogate long established cultural narratives, and their casual acceptance by and effect on the American public, has garnered national and international attention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/media-archive.blackartinamerica.com\/profiles\/blogs\/come-over-paul-stephen-benjamin-interview-with-faron-manuel\/\" target=\"_self\"><img class=\"align-center\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/api.ning.com\/files\/YGW5BgIKF69zs7dR2o1nti3aI5Nz4P3Mj-A*0OOMZKNwIGz9HBLWE-mSmsKcMcBWjmzt2yd6DTm2XjfU4HbPMVuy8btRPZK6\/a7439b4457c946409606c60b1979e738.jpg?w=650\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span class=\"font-size-3\">Paul Stephen Benjamin received his BA from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/illinois.edu\/\">University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign<\/a>\u00a0and his MFA from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GeorgiaStateUniversity\/\">Georgia State University<\/a>. Benjamin is a recipient of the 2014 Artadia Award. Recently, he was featured in the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AtlantaContemporary\/\">Atlanta Contemporary<\/a>&#8216;s exhibition \u201cColoring\u201d. He was also featured in the group exhibition Emerging Artist Award Winners 15th Year Retrospective Exhibition at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/The-Swan-Coach-House\/341345345885356\">The Swan Coach House<\/a>. Among his awards to date are: the Winnie B.
