Guests will enjoy light hors d\u2019oeuvres, cocktails, and live jazz, while bidding on\u00a0a wide range of creative expressions by renowned artists, designers and local\u00a0business owners. The auction will feature fine art by Sam Gilliam, David Driskell, Kevin Cole, Alfred Conteh, Brian Hebert, Maurice Evans, Louis Delsarte, Grace Kisa and Lionel Lofton, to name a few.<\/p>\n
If you are new to art collecting, or you would like to learn more about building your collection, you won’t want to miss the brief rotating talk on \u2018The Art of Collecting\u2019 facilitated by the artists and local collectors. \u201cThe Art of Collecting\u201d will focus onAfrican American art. Additional Auction highlights include travel and entertainment, spa services, luxury items, fine dining and other creative goods and services. While the event will highlight Fine art, the auction items will complement a variety of tastes, styles and budgets.\u00a0The Greater Atlanta Chapter is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization and the tax\u00a0deductible proceeds from the auction will go directly to the chapter\u2019s\u00a0signature programming and scholarship funds such as Aline Rivers Jones Art scholarship fund.<\/p>\n
