Founded in 1945 by the Women’s Club of Trinity Episcopal Church, the Christina Cultural Arts Center’s original purpose was to provide activities for hard working Swedish and Polish immigrants. In 1969, their purpose evolved to preserve African-American culture and heritage through community-based arts. After renovating its building in 1993, CCAC has since stood as a prominent gathering place for youth and adults who want to develop the skills for a professional career in the creative arts. The center supports those curious about their cultural background and their unique creative expression in honoring and preserving their history.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
