3\u2026<\/strong> Three works<\/em>.<\/strong> Straight outta the collections of Black Art In America comes three compelling pieces of art for this week, including Hope Springs Forth<\/em>, Fusion In Paradise, <\/em>and Step One.<\/em><\/p>\n

2\u2026<\/strong> Two minutes.<\/em><\/strong> We encourage you to take at least two minutes to view each of these works, study them, and connect with them. See which ones speak to you, challenge you, and-or inspire you.<\/p>\n

1\u2026<\/strong> One artist<\/em>.<\/strong> The artist behind today\u2019s works is Diana Shannon Young<\/strong>, who has been highlighted in one-woman museum exhibitions and included in juried, curated museum shows along with such notable masters as Elizabeth Catlett and Jacob Lawrence.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy work is unique. My style individual. My heart filled with love. I am compelled to create thought-provoking collage work or abstract mixed media pieces that dance with textures of soft and vibrant hues.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI invite you to enter my world where creativity is uninhibited and unstructured but influenced by masters. The creative process is an imaginative, intuitive journey. Each piece embodies the essence of my life\u2019s journey and is tantamount to a road trip with a close member of my family or a dear precious friend, as we navigate the challenges and joys of life. When my creation speaks to your conscious, heart, or soul, my journey with you is a success.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
