The first part of Say It Loud, will be installed outside on the museum’s grounds. Using photographs and quotes, which will present the events that led up to the Detroit rebellion and describe what occurred in its aftermath. United We Stand, the 24-foot sculpture by Charles McGee, serves as a symbol for the only way that Detroit can continue to manifest and maintain change for the future. We invite visitors to view these installations anytime of the day or night.

The second part of Say It Loud will be presented inside the museum’s AT&T and Chase Galleries, during regular museum hours.
