The FIVE Spot: THE TWO FACES OF GEMINI
Connecting through Art
Five works of art. One theme. The FIVE Spot.
This week’s theme at the FIVE Spot is THE TWO FACES OF GEMINI, as we present five works of art connected by the dual nature of this astrological sign of late May and the month of June. The Latin term for “twins,” Gemini has perhaps become the most popular sign of the zodiac for its globally recognized twoness, its mirrored imagery. As a constellation, under the tropical zodiac, the sun crosses Gemini roughly between May 21 and June 21 each year.
These five works of art celebrate the inherent duality that is Gemini. They include Twins by Fred Jones; Faces For Two Worlds by Elizabeth Catlett; Twins by Khalif Thompson; Untitled male #1 by Paul Goodnight; and Hear My Cry by Ulysses Marshall.
We encourage you to take at least five minutes to view them, study them, and connect with them.
That way, you can see which ones hit the spot.
