Black Art In America, Zadig & Voltaire celebrate artist Khalif Thompson, Art is Hope

As part of its ongoing collaboration with international fashion brand, Zadig and Voltaire, Black Art In America (BAIA) proudly recognizes artist Khalif Tahir Thompson’s current role as featured artist for the luxury streetwear company’s Art Is Hope campaign. A profile of Thompson and his work currently appears at the Zadig & Voltaire website, including a Q&A with the New York City based artist.  Thompson’s art can be found in prominent private collections nationally.  Congratulations go out to Khalif Tahir Thompson in recognition of his extraordinary talent and artistic vision.

Through their Art is Hope campaign, Zadig & Voltaire supports local artists and communities by “bringing awareness to organizations that augment the state of communities around them.” The company has partnered with National Alliance of Mental Illness, Black Art In America and L.A. Dance Project while highlighting the work and organizations of such artists as Jormi Graterol, Amanda Wachob, Benjamin Millepied, and BAIA’s Najee Dorsey. As a result of the Art is Hope campaign, Black Art In America continues to receive proceeds from the monthly sale of participating items. Zadig & Voltaire has also generously funded BAIA’s recruitment of a Black art educator.
