Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize

The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts and the Walters Art Museum will announce the winner of the 14th annual Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize during an award ceremony beginning at 7pm, followed by a reception. Galleries are open from 10am-9pm. Admission is free. The competition awards a $25,000 fellowship to assist in furthering the career of a visual artist or visual artist collaborators living and working in the Greater Baltimore region. The remaining finalists receive an M&T Bank Finalist Award of $2,500.

The Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize Finalists Exhibition is on view through Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Walters. A semifinalists’ exhibition is on view Thursday, July 18-Saturday, August 17, 2019 at One Charles Center, located at 100 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21201. An opening reception is Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 5-8pm.
