Dear Art Lover

Please join us on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 1 – 4pm for Faith Ringgold’s 20th annual garden party at her Englewood, NJ art studio. The first garden party was in 1999 and celebrated the beginning of the Anyone Can Fly Foundation. We have since continued this annual tradition each summer.

This year we will honor Master Quilter and the founder of the National African American Quilt Convention, Marla Jackson with the Lifetime Achievement Award and for the first time we will bestow the Mme. Willi Posey Commemorative Fashion Award upon Sara Bunn, a Master Fashion Designer. Bunn’s designs can be seen at Closets for Her in Englewood, NJ.

At the party there will be an exhibition of Marla Jackson’s quilts and Sara Bunn’s clothing designs. Faith Ringgold and Michele Wallace will moderate a conversation with Marla and Sara at 1:30pm.

Guests will enjoy delicious appetizers, drinks, art and the usual mix of art lovers and friends from across America. We hope that you will join us Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2018, by making your contribution of $150 per person. You may make your reservation by purchasing tickets at the link below, or pay at the door.
