Today we spoke with Dennis Winslett, musician and former Director of Education at American Jazz Museum and Sonié Ruffin, artist and former visiting curator for the American Jazz Museum. The Jazz Museum has been in the news as of late for bounced checks to jazz musicians and vendors from the recent production of the 2017  Kansas City Jazz and Heritage Festival that took place Labor Day weekend.
