He sees Hip Hop as the expression of his generation of African-Americans, just as the Civil Rights Movement was the expression of his parents’ generation. He has created his own way of using the curator’s platform to preserve history and to educate. It’s important work, especially to help the younger generation to understand their world and how it evolved.
