Charmaine just sent me this link on you and your work and I continue to be blown away by your gift and approach to creating art as well as your deep sense of the power of art to uplift us as a people. Thank you so much for doing what you do. I am a Bahamian artist now residing in north east Ohio (my wife Sonya teaches at Kent State along with Kissey) and I have come to know Charmaine very well over the last few months. I am late to the art of painting and drawing but practice it every day none the less. My work is based on the colors of the Bahamian national cultural festival called Junkanoo and I would love to connect with you at some point. I think your work is breathtaking and filled with questions as well as the essence of who we are m. It has effected me deeply. All the best to you today and moving forward.
My best,
Keith
