I really miss her, She was so approachable here in Chicago. She is truly missed and a wonderful artist.

Delightful to hear from members within the group I’ve known for a number of years. My collection days have practically ceased. Walls in my home are covered with art pieces from artists in your group; name recognition is recalled. In-fact, I never thought I’d see or hear from them again. But it’s great that a few of them are still around. I am sorry to say that there is no more space and I have already made a connection with a museum in Atlanta, Georgia to act as a recipient of pieces I wish to release for sale at some time in the future. In addition, I am connected with the Black Arts group here in San Antonio.

I had the honor and priviledge to not only know Annie Lee but also attended her first gallery showing at “The Woodshop Art Gallery” where I became the proud owner of “Blue Monday”. Of all the art I have accumulated over the years, this piece has been my crowning achievement. Annie Lee was not only a great artist, she was humble, unpretentioius and gracious. She and her wonderful gift will be missed and always remembered.
